Preliminary connection tariffs for works on the transmission system organised by the TSO

Information is provided according to the data available as of June 2022

The TSOs have identified preliminary tariffs for the connection of biogas production facilities to the gas transmission system (excluding VAT). The following works/services have been assessed in the connection fees:

• Preparation of a technical working draft for the project;
• Supervision of the implementation of the design documentation and making the necessary changes to the technical working design during the term of construction contract agreement;
• Supply of materials and equipment;
• General construction work;
• Dismantling, dismantling, testing and connection of gas process equipment, pipelines to existing gas pipelines;
• Telemetry (SCADA) installation works;
• Electrical engineering (installation of electrical, protective earthing systems) works;
• Passive corrosion protection, gas pipeline re-insulation works;
• Site management works. All necessary installation/redevelopment/reconstruction of other engineering infrastructure;
• Connection works;
• Other works and services (surveying, geology, pipeline desurfacing, site set-up and maintenance, documentation management and obtaining the completion certificate/declaration).

* in this case, there would be a higher probability of interruptions and restrictions to the flow of gas than in a connection o two main parallel gas pipelines.

The indicative connection rates shall be preliminary and non-binding. The preliminary connection fee shall be adjusted on a case-by-case basis. The exact cost for the connection of the biomethane production facilities to the gas transmission system shall be known only after the public procurement procedure and the signing of the contract with the successful contractor.
