For the third year in a row, Amber Grid is awarding long-term incentive scholarships to advanced and motivated first- and second-year engineering students of Vilnius Tech and Panevėžys College. In 2024, the gas transmission operator allocated 75,000 euros for scholarships for future engineers, so the scholarship awarded to students reaches up to 300 euros per month. The aim of this step is to address the issue of attracting specialists needed for the transformation of the Lithuanian energy sector. National Energy Independence Strategy estimates that the need for energy engineering specialists will more than triple by 2030.
