AB Amber Grid announces a public consultation on the draft amendment of the Rules for Use of the Amber Grid Natural Gas Transmission System. The proposed amendments to the Rules concern the procedure for compensation for permanent capacity constraints. In addition, the assessment of an application for a transmission service contract now includes a reliability assessment phase for the potential system user, as well as other minor changes to the draft Rules.

System users are invited to familiarise themselves with the draft rules and to submit their comments and suggestions to consultation@ambergrid.lt by 10 October 2024.

At the end of the public consultation period, we will assess the comments and suggestions received during the consultation and submit the final version of the rules to the State Energy Regulatory Board.
